SPORT IN SCOIL MOLAISE
Sport and Physical Education play important roles in Scoil Molaise. All of our children take part in P.E. every week and are allowed to explore different strands of the P.E. curriculum, including dance, gymnastics, games, outdoor activities and aquatics.
Every child, from junior infants to sixth class, takes part in swimming lessons for 7 weeks during the first term.
The children have also enjoyed Zumba dance lessons from dance teacher Lisa.
The older children in Scoil Molaise are able to represent their school in a variety of sports. These include:

EASONS SPELLING BEE
Every year we enter the Easons Spelling Bee which is a competition to find the best speller in the country.
First we have a school Spelling Bee for the children in 5th and 6th class to pick our school champion.
That person will represent our school in the Carlow Spelling Bee.
CREDIT UNION QUIZ
This year we are entering six teams in the Leighlinbridge Credit Union Quiz.
The teams are made up of four members each.
We are entering three u-11 teams and three u-13 teams.
We had a quiz in school to pick the teams.
