Garden Club
The Scoil Molaise Garden Club allows children the opportunity to learn about gardening and horticulture.
A sense of responsibility and care for the environment is encouraged and fostered by Therese.
The garden club takes place at lunchtimes on Wednesday in the Spring and Summer terms.
Homework Club
Jill and Lorraine provide an after school homework club for the schildren of Scoil Molaise.
The children do their homework, get a snack and play games.
The infants can stay from 2pm to 3pm while the senior children stay from 3pm to 4:00pm.
Spring Clean
Every Spring the children of Scoil Molaise take part in a big Spring Clean.
The junior classes stay on the school premises and tidy up around the school.
The older classes walk down to the village and clean up the areas around the hall, the GAA pitch and the roadsides.
When we return to the school all of the rubbish is gathered up and taken away to be disposed of.
The Shoebox Appeal
In December the children of Scoil Molaise filled shoeboxes with presents for children in poorer countries.
Science Fair
In November Ms. Foley's Class had their Science Fair.
The children exhibited different experiments to the rest of the school.
Parents and family were invited to attend.
Everyone had a great day.
